Types and uses of fans

一、Centrifugal fan: The principle of a centrifugal fan is to suck in gas from the center of the impeller and throw it out through the rotation of the impeller, achieving gas pressurization and transportation. Due to its small size, light weight, high reliability, and low noise, it is widely used in fields such as sewage treatment, construction, metallurgy, and chemical engineering. Centrifugal fans can be used for indoor ventilation and air exchange in general factories and large buildings.
二、 Axial flow fan: Axial flow fan rotates the impeller to make gas flow along the axis direction, and the gas is accelerated and compressed in the impeller before being discharged. Axial flow fans have the characteristics of high flow rate, small volume, and low head pressure, and are suitable for applications with dust and corrosive gases. Axial flow fans are often installed in ducts or at the front end of duct outlets
三、Oblique flow fan: Oblique flow fan is located in the impeller of the fan, and the direction of the airflow is between axial flow, approximately flowing along a cone. The pressure coefficient of diagonal flow fans is higher than that of axial flow fans, while the flow coefficient is higher than that of centrifugal fans.
四、Roots blower: Roots blower belongs to positive displacement blower, which uses two or three blade rotors to make relative motion in the cylinder to transport gas. Commonly used in small and medium-sized sulfuric acid plants that require low air volume but high pressure head.
五、Compressor: A compressor refers to a fan that increases the pressure of gas by more than 196120Pa or has a compression ratio greater than 3.5. Compressors are widely used for ventilation, dust removal, and cooling in factories, mines, tunnels, cooling towers, vehicles, ships, and buildings.
