The purpose and principle of electric motor pumps

The purpose of electric motor pump
Electric motor pumps are widely used in various mechanical equipment, such as excavators, cranes, presses, etc., to convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy, achieve the transportation of liquids, and increase pressure.
The principle of electric motor pump:The working principle of a motor pump is the process of converting mechanical energy into hydraulic energy, based on the incompressibility of liquids. The specific steps include:
1.The oil inlet is opened, and the oil is sucked into the suction chamber of the pump body.
2.The rotation of the pump shaft compresses the oil sucked in by hydraulic pressure into the hydraulic cylinder.
3.The inlet valve is closed, the outlet valve is opened, and the compressed liquid flows out from the outlet.
4.The rotation of the pump shaft gradually increases the liquid pressure inside the hydraulic cylinder. When a certain pressure is reached, the hydraulic energy inside the hydraulic cylinder meets the requirements of mechanical energy, and the operation of the motor pump is completed.

In addition, the working principle of the electric pump also includes the fixed method of the impeller on the shaft, and the impeller is installed inside the pump casing and directly driven by the motor. There is a liquid suction tube in the center of the pump casing. Before starting, the pump casing is filled with liquid. After starting, the impeller rotates at high speed, and the liquid is thrown from the center of the impeller to the outer edge and gains energy. Under the action of centrifugal force, it enters the snail shaped pump casing, and the flow channel gradually expands and decelerates. Part of the kinetic energy is converted into static pressure energy, and finally flows into the discharge pipeline at a higher pressure. When a vacuum is formed at the center of the impeller, and the pressure above the liquid level in the storage tank is greater than the pump inlet pressure, the liquid is continuously pressed into the impeller. As long as the impeller continues to rotate, the liquid will be continuously sucked in and discharged.

In summary, electric motor pumps achieve liquid transportation and pressure increase through the conversion of mechanical energy, and are widely used in various mechanical equipment. Its working principle is based on the incompressibility of liquids and the structural design of pumps, ensuring stable output pressure, wide speed range, and adjustable output flow rate。
